Comfy couches
After finishing the green leaf hat I’ve finally gotten around to this. I’m excited because I like ear warmers and this pattern can be extended to a scarf (matching!) if I’m so inclined. This is a real thing?
So earlier I was unsure of how one actually gets a knitting injury. Last night I finally experienced my first one. After finishing my leaf hat I left the needles in the ball of yarn and last night I was edging them out of the way with my bare foot when the DPN got stuck in the carpet and stabbed my foot. Yes, it was as random as that. So I have my first injury.

I’m not really sure if I have too many tips beyond always roll your yarn into a ball. Making that discovery was the single best thing ever for me. It’s so much easier.

I really like everything I have planned, especially if this current experiment works then I will continue to make Greenbay colored koozie mittens and perhaps a hat. Right now I enjoy smaller projects that are portable instead of larger, more ambitious projects like sweaters.

Day 19: Do you watch movies and/or listen to music or podcasts while knitting? What are your favorite things to knit to? I watch an excessive amount of TV and movies. I really prefer watching something when knitting, especially if I’m doing something relatively simple like cabling or ribbing.
